Description
National Depression Screening Day raises awareness and screens people for depression and related mood and anxiety disorders.
The UMBC Counseling Center is offering an anonymous mental health self-assessment on Wednesday, October 2nd from 11am-2pm on Commons Main Street.
It is normal for college students to occasionally feel sad, anxious or not like themselves, but if these feelings persist for more than two weeks, it could be a sign of a mood disorder like depression. Students who may be struggling with depression should be aware that help is available.
A screening will help you to better understand your mental health and whether it might be in your best interest to seek help.
