Description
Introductory STEM classes are taught and tested in way that is much different than what you may be used to. Many of your professors even assume that you have a background understanding of the topics before you even set foot in the classroom. If this teaching style has your head spinning and always feeling like you are falling behind -- we can help! A lot of the struggle comes down to your approach and ownership of the learning process -- so let's talk about what you can do!
Join CNMS Advising and your CNMS Peer Advisor (Kimora Blake) for our weekly success workshop (9/24) in The Learning Collaboratory -- TLC (UC 115) from 12-1PM and you will leave with a concrete plan for how to tackle both content based courses like BIOL and problem based courses like CHEM/PHYS/
MATH.
Whether you just had your first STEM exam or it's coming up next week -- this is a perfect time of the year to evaluate your study stills and start with easy intervention! See you there!
