Description

Research and internships are two very important pieces of a STEM major's education! Are you interested in learning about how to get the process started with one of these important pillars? Read on!

We'll be focusing on the "how do I science?" part of STEM this month by highlighting research and internships. Today in our virtual Tuesdays@2 series, we'll give an overview of how to orient yourself towards these things regardless of where you are in your undergraduate education - whether you're an incoming first year, a transfer student, or further along on your journey at UMBC, we've got you covered.

Join us from 2-3 PM in WebEx! Click the link to access the meeting.

Make sure to tune in for the rest of the month, as we have our Professor Panel coming up next week on July 9 to highlight their research labs on campus, as well as our popular "what can I do with a STEM degree?" chat with Adam Morris of the Career Center, who can help you figure out where to start that all-important internship search, on July 16! We'll finish off the month with a town hall for questions as well as a summer reading group.
