Upgrade to a Full myUMBC Account

Converting the myUMBC portal account that you created to track your application status into a full myUMBC account will give you access to additional features and functions, including: UMBC email, Billing & Personal Finances, and Classes & Grades.

It is important to note that all campus communications from here on out will be sent to your myUMBC email address so it is important to begin checking this email regularly.

Please note that the Course Registration functions will be disabled until you attend your Online Orientation Sessions.


Upgrading your account will also allow you to officially join Groups in myUMBC, like the CNMS Advising Group. Groups allow you to get news and updates from departments and student organizations in which you have an interest, and also gives the sponsoring organization a place to share links, documents, and media with their members.
