Grades don't define you -- growth does!

Location

University Center : 115

Date & Time

October 14, 2026, 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm

Description

We're halfway through the semester and with midterms/exams well underway it is natural to start thinking about final grades. Are you on a clear path to the grade you want in your CHEM/BIOL/MATH/PHYS classes? Even with setbacks, it is typically still possible to earn that elusive "A" in your STEM classes. Early action and a clear plan forward are essential to this goal and you are inevitably getting stronger with every exam/assessment.

Join CNMS Advising tomorrow, October 14th from 12-1PM in The Learning Collaboratory (TLC) -- UC 115 for an intractive event where we help with grade calculations, intervention plans, preparing for that next exam, and ensuring that you are set up for success. Most importantly, we will help you take stock of your study habits so far and remind you that your grades do not define you but your GROWTH does!

Throughout the session we will provide handouts on different mid-semester success strategies! And as always, there will be snacks and another change to enter our end-of-semester raffle.
